The wind caressed the towers of the royal palace, carrying the scent of the roses from the garden to the windows of the princess’s room. Alina stared at the night sky, the stars shining in the distance like fragments of a world she didn’t belong to. As a child, those same stars had told her stories of adventures, of freedom, of impossible loves that always ended with a happy ending. Now, though, looking at them hurt, as if each light was a reminder of what she would never have.
His life was already written, a script drawn up by hands that were not his. Being a princess had never been a gift, but a responsibility that she carried like a dress that was too tight. She would no longer live a life that didn’t belong to her.
With one last look at the room that had been her golden prison, Alina turned towards the future. An unknown future, dangerous perhaps, but finally his.
That night, the princess fled, leaving the weight of the crown behind to search for something true.
That night, a story began that would change not only his destiny, but also his heart.
