The river meandered gently through the green valleys of Lembriar, a small village that had always breathed with its currents. For the inhabitants, the silently flowing water was life, a reassuring constant, yet there was something different in that river, something that whispered ancient promises to those who had the patience to listen.
Since he was a child, Arin had loved spending afternoons along the banks, watching the sunlight play on the water, listening to the soft murmurs that seemed to tell distant stories. For many, the river was simply a source of water, a route for trade, a natural border. But for Arin, it was different: there was a mystery in its waters, a sense of something greater, of something eternally waiting to be discovered.
When a traveler came to the village, with eyes full of fear and stories of shadows approaching from the mountain, Arin sensed that call he had always heard along the shores was growing, becoming a silent cry. The river was in danger, and with it everything magical that was hidden in its waves.

A voice, sweet as the wind among the branches, spoke to him in the dream: “Only those who see with their heart will be able to find the answer. Only those who listen will be able to save the enchantment.”
Waking up with his heart pounding, Arin knew the time had come: he had to follow the call of the waters. He had to leave.
